Giving back whenever we can is a resolve each member of our team is driven to live by. In the little moments when no one is watching to the big ones we weren’t ready for, and everything in between—loving each other and our community makes the world go ‘round.
This holiday season, our excitement for Whatcom County and community bubbled over into a Small Business Saturday celebration! Alongside Uisce Irish Pub and SO many other amazing local businesses, the team at Erdmann Graves & Partners was able to share our gratitude for the support you’ve shown us year in and year out.
Shoutout to our food vendor: Street Dogz! Complete with vegan options.
The Party Planning Committee took to the streets a few weeks before the event to raise awareness and invite downtown businesses to join in. By the end of our FIRST DAY, we were graciously gifted certificates to Mallard Ice Cream, Tadeo’s Mexican Restaurant, & Ruthless Tattoo Co.
Over the next week or so, we received more donations from Kombucha Town, Birchwood Botanicals, Anytime Fitness (Barkley & Cordata), & Cascadia Mushrooms with a few day-of goodies from Antler Baking Company, Mary-Kay & more!
In an atmosphere that could only be described as “magical”, music poured over the room while people laughed over $3 pints and anticipated the raffle which started half-past 5pm! With a surprise twist, we enjoyed appearances from most of our prize donors who were able to share a little about their businesses before drawing their winners.
We also got to hear from Molly and celebrate all the years of dedication she’s poured into Downtown Bellingham life! If you’ve missed the news, Molly has listed Uisce for sale and is on a mission to find the next perfect owner. But we couldn’t let her go without showing her how much we love and appreciate her.
We are absolutely floored by Bellingham’s generosity and holiday joy! Thank you to everyone who made Small Business Saturday 2019 the success it was—we couldn't have pulled this off without you!
